Dingo Australia Distributes the CHEETA Powered Hand Truck

Dingo Australia has proudly become the distributor for Cheeta Australia Pty Ltd. The Cheeta is a revolutionary powered hand truck or bag trolley that has experienced rapid growth in reputation and popularity since its inception two years ago. Invented and developed in Australia, the Cheeta powered hand truck is quickly becoming a must have with significant domestic success and is now in demand overseas.

The Cheeta is a universal lifting device designed as an alternative to a tailgate loader or in some cases, a forklift. The Cheeta is operated by one person and is capable of lifting bulky loads, white goods or equipment onto trucks and up stairs, thus reducing unnecessary labour costs and on-the-job injuries.
The Cheeta features a heavy duty powder coated steel frame, heavy duty pneumatic tyres, plug in battery recharge, lifting chain encased in a chain guard and a unique flexible drive design that ensures the Cheeta can lower or lift loads above as well as below the hand truck’s wheel level.

The Cheeta can lift any load up to 250kg including boxes, air conditioners, arcade machines, bath tubs, vending machines, clothes driers, freezers, photocopier machines and transformers.
The Cheeta is the brainchild of Tony White, Cheeta International. Tony developed an early prototype of the Cheeta 6 years ago for personal use in his warehouse business in Brisbane, Queensland. The early prototype caught the attention of other warehouse operators and soon Tony had product orders. This early interest provided the motivation for Tony to develop the Cheeta concept further and take it to the marketplace.

Tony explains;

“As a warehouse manager I recognised the need for a piece of equipment that didn’t involve a large investment and simply got the job done”.

“I developed the prototype for use in my warehouse and it reduced the need for a forklift and most importantly, staff heavy lifting.”

“We have received a very positive response from the delivery industry since the Cheeta was made available. The Cheeta enables delivery companies to run with a sole delivery driver when previously there was a need for two.”

Managing Director of Dingo Australia, Gary Briggs is excited about the opportunities the Cheeta powered hand truck will provide for Dingo Australia.

“The Cheeta hand truck distribution is the perfect fit for Dingo Australia as it is another materials handling device. Like the Dingo mini digger, the Cheeta is a revolutionary labour saving device that saves time and increases profitability. We are proud to be associated with this exciting new product and firmly believe the Cheeta will become a must have for all delivery and warehouse companies in the near future,” explains Mr Briggs.

“The Cheeta has created a real buzz in the Dingo Australia showrooms since its arrival and I encourage everyone to come down to one of our showrooms and see a demonstration,” said Mr Briggs.

The Cheeta powered hand truck is available from all Dingo Australia branches.

The Dingo range of mini diggers cater for the distinct needs of each operator. Once you drive a Dingo you will be Dingo driver for life – but don’t take our word for it visit Dingo stand and see for yourself.

Dingo will be proudly leading the Aussie made charge at the Dowerin Field Days with all Dingo machines hand assembled in Australia and containing parts manufactured and tested in Australia. Dingo’s commitment to quality and reliability will ensure that the Australian made flag flies strong at the event in the face of cheap and low quality imports becoming available to the Australian agricultural industry.

Dingo Australia General Manager Greg Daetz has encouraged visitors to the Dowerin Field Days to think twice before buying cheaper imported earthmoving equipment and machine parts that are unproven.

“With the constant pressures that are on the construction industry I can personally understand that tough decisions have to be made, however I encourage people not to deviate from Australian made and proven quality at the Dowerin Field Days this year,” said Mr Daetz.

“Even if you are planning to keep your machine only for a couple of years, cheaper machinery and parts have the potential to cause you problems at any time. I would like to extend a warm invitation to all to come down and view our new Dingo K9-5 and chat to our friendly staff at the Dingo stand.” Mr Daetz commented.
