DINGO AUSTRALIA GOES PINK FOR MCGRATH FOUNDATION

In an exciting development for breast awareness, iconic Australian Mini Digger manufacturer, Dingo Australia, will ‘go pink’ for another great Australian icon, the McGrath Foundation.

Dingo Australia will proudly donate $100 to the McGrath Foundation from every new Dingo machine sold during the next twelve months, providing much needed funds to help the Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and increase breast awareness among young Women.

100% Aussie owned, Aussie made and Aussie proud, the Dingo is Australia’s favourite Mini Digger, popular with home renovators, landscapers and tradesmen throughout Australia and a regular on Channel Nine’s Domestic Blitz during the 2009 and 2010 series.

Dingo Australia Marketing Manager, Clare Simmons, said that while it might be surprising to see a Mini Digger manufacturing company ‘going pink’, Dingo Australia is a family company that is committed to making a difference in rural communities.

“Dingo Australia is a family company that has been manufacturing Australian machinery for over two decades. Despite our large size, the Dingo factory is still proudly based in the rural Queensland town of Dalby, demonstrating our commitment to regional families and communities. We have recognised the work of the McGrath Foundation in rural centres like Dalby, where there is currently a McGrath Breast Care Nurse on duty, and want to acknowledge the synergy in vision between our two organisations through supporting their valuable work,” said Clare.

“The colour pink is not often associated with the machinery manufacturing industry but we are proud to ‘go pink’ and draw attention to the work of the McGrath Foundation. We are very conscious that behind every Dingo owner operator is a family member or friend who confronts real issues like breast cancer in their daily lives. As the McGrath Foundation motto says, together we can make a difference,” said Clare.

The McGrath Foundation’s Managing Director, Kylea Tink, believes the friendship with Dingo Australia is one that will only continue to grow in coming years.
“At the Foundation, we’re proud to be able to add a splash of hot pink to construction sites all over Australia, so we’re thrilled to have Dingo Australia on board as one of our newest Corporate Friends,” said Kylea.

“Our friendship with Dingo Australia will help us raise valuable funds to support Australian families experiencing breast cancer right across Australia through the placement of additional McGrath Breast Care Nurses,” said Kylea.

About the McGrath Foundation

Dingo Australia have announced the launch of the Dingo 950 Classic Mini Digger. The Dingo 950 Classic fulfils the developing need for a tough and reliable full sized mini digger at an entry level price, providing great news for operators who want to own the quality and reliability of a Dingo.

The design draws on the heritage of the 950 Dingo, while offering selected technological advances from the Dingo K9-3 AWD. With the chassis and many characteristics of the Dingo K9-3 AWD, the Dingo 950 Classic offers a considerable list of features for an entry level price. Expected to be popular with hire outlets and entry level contractors, the Dingo 950 Classic is designed to be tough, reliable and simple to operate to get the job done.

The Dingo 950 Classic offers a quality Vanguard petrol engine and supports all standard Dingo K9-3 AWD attachments including the 4 in 1 bucket, trencher and post hole digger, while offering similar engine power, push and lift capacities as the popular Dingo K9-3 AWD. One piece load arms enables reduced service costs and improved safety for the driver due to fewer moving parts.

The Dingo 950 Classic is designed to have inexperienced operators straight out on the job no matter their ‘know- how’.

Dingo Australia General Manager Greg Daetz, said the Dingo 950 Classic has received an excellent reception.

“The 950 Dingo was always a very popular machine and we had so many requests to bring it back we have decided to launch the new Dingo 950 Classic,” said Greg.

“The Dingo 950 Classic will fulfil the need in the market for a machine that has many of the features of the K9-3 AWD with an entry level price,” said Greg.

“It is perfectly suited for a hire company or entry level contractor that needs the power and toughness with a no fuss approach. If Dingo quality and durability was previously outside your budget then you need to look at the new Dingo 950 Classic,” concluded Greg.
